Just finished Grim's half of it, and my biggest question is: What was the point of literally any of that?

I'd better get every answer to every question I have about Alice Hawthorne in GG3. If we don't, and there is more, I am going to be so mad. I thought this would clear up all the nonsense from Games Untold, but instead, I have even more questions.

I already hate everyone

There is a fine line between love and stalkerish obsession. Grim uses that line like a jump rope.

This pacing is some of the worst I have read. We have jumped 25 years in the span of 20 pages. We get a page of build-up for a battle that we never see, just are told "Oh, it's over now" in the very next line. Grim and Oro are both still obnoxious, but at least Isla isn't here

I'm feeling chaotic

I'm calling it now: the brother didn't actually commit suicide, and he's helping with the rebellion. I have read wayyyyyy too many books with this plotline.

Also, I somehow let this sit for 2 weeks, and now it's due in 5 days.....

Lia infiltrating a cult is both a very good plot twist and totally on brand for her character

I think a lot of my problems stem from the fact that I still cannot get the descriptions of our main characters straight. I keep picturing Lia and Cassie having blonde hair and Sloane and Dean having light brown hair. So every time any of their hair color is mentioned, I get thrown off.

Okay, this kinda fell off. It's giving a bad episode of Love Island where I want them all voted off the island (except Bella and Garrett, they're divas)

Noooooooo. I love Garrett, I do, he is my favourite character, but must we hurt Heath in the process? This is so hard because on one hand I am rooting for this KatxGarrett, but on the other I want the childhood friends to lovers arc to finish playing out.

It is getting juicy. This is already wayyy better than most of the TJR's I have read.

“Alister’s been fucking with Mason all season ’cause his ex-girlfriend lied and said Mason was her kid’s dad.” -but why now? Nothing happened for literally 35/38 chapters in this book. Why bring this up at the end? It's like the amnesia/3rd act "break up" from the last one. Also, if that's his reason, why was Mason making him think Deaton was his kid the breaking point? He should have flipped out on Mason way earlier

I have never gotten this much second-hand embarrassment from a singular book character. I've been on the side of the annoying frat boys for most of this, and that is concerning.

Why is Chase a part of EVERY SINGLE LOVE TRIANGLE IN THIS SERIES? These books overlap at points, meaning that at a certain point in time, he was an active member in two different love triangles. How does he do all this and still have the time to be the most annoying character?

No.... this might be the breaking point, first the family tree that took a solid 20 minutes to figure out, and now this?
(and I thought Juliet and Romeo from the last book were bad)
