So far, already a little different from the show. The show was 10/10 (caution for language and violence), but I hope the book is just as good!

(Spoiler alert) I totally saw that “big reveal” coming

I tried the audiobook, and had a hard time. I’ll try again with the hard copy.

So far reminds me of 1984.

I’m still on the fence as to whether I enjoy this book, but it is intriguing enough for me to keep reading.
There’s also a very unique narration structure which is a little confusing at first but makes for some interesting plot points.

I like this a lot so far.

5 chapters in and the F-bomb is being thrown around A LOT and unnecessarily so in my opinion.
This is supposed to be one of the top rated books out recently, but I’m about to quit it if it can’t calm down.

I don’t know if this counts as reading a book… but I do like if a lot!

Some of the stories are really good…. And some are really not.

Ok I get it now. This is interesting.

Im curious where this is going…. but the build up to get here had been kinda clunky.

Slow going, but I’m pushing to the end.

I’ve already teared up multiple times.

The author is offering both personal and scripture-based thoughts challenging her own worldviews as someone outside the family of God.
She time jumps back and forth a bit so that’s a little confusing.
So far, I’m finding this a very interesting read, but I am having to take it one bite at a time, as she is so intellectual and analytical that each “bite” is pretty info-heavy.
