I find the story itself is so fun and interesting. Alex is a mess but her upbringing makes sense and I can give her the write off. However the writing style is atrocious. Why is the there a bracket (----) every few paragraphs. Not even dramatic, there are at least 3 in every chapter. Pretty much all have added little to nothing and just breaks up the text unnecessarily. Almost a hate read but the story is cool
