I have many updates that i have forgotten to put in here so I’ll just say that Dudden, as per the first chapters, is a continuously developing sick asshole; as is Terry in a different, almost opposite, manner, both very obsessive in their own banal interests.

The language is a little tiring but has ben eloquent and not that hard to read, takes some getting used to.

I was reading this whiplash and Sorry Mom by Kelsea Ballerini came on and it was a triple wave of some sort of sour regret of uncontrollable happenstances… it not only made me cry because poor Juice doesn’t know how to manage her feelings (not that she should) but Phoebe loves to metaphorically shoot herself on the knee and make it worse by thinking things like “I would have been a good fucking mother.”

And this is why; this is why Lila is the character I like. The seaplane is the reason she will never call off the wedding to Gary, the seaplane is why she would never give a try with Jim and it’s what’s right, because she needs more and she knows that.

Yea of course this is the underlying trope with Jim and Gary. And it actually makes me feel bad for Jim, and also for Lila.

Juice really cracks me up; and, on another note I really like that Espach refers to her as Juice.

Also the whole O.J argument is not something I would expect would bother a person like Lila, maybe her mother but not Lila.

Lila is just… she cracks me up and she doesn’t think the world is filled with rules and I really really enjoy her as a character, she just sees what she wants and gets it and I get how that might be annoying but the fact that this woman just doesn’t seem to know that obstacles exist in such a easygoing way is delightful to read.
