I was reading this whiplash and Sorry Mom by Kelsea Ballerini came on and it was a triple wave of some sort of sour regret of uncontrollable happenstances… it not only made me cry because poor Juice doesn’t know how to manage her feelings (not that she should) but Phoebe loves to metaphorically shoot herself on the knee and make it worse by thinking things like “I would have been a good fucking mother.”

And this is why; this is why Lila is the character I like. The seaplane is the reason she will never call off the wedding to Gary, the seaplane is why she would never give a try with Jim and it’s what’s right, because she needs more and she knows that.

Yea of course this is the underlying trope with Jim and Gary. And it actually makes me feel bad for Jim, and also for Lila.
