I really feel like the entire first half of this book/show was just a lesson on the word "Consent". Don't touch Jaime without CONSENT!!!

In the musical Madam Morrible has no interest or hope in teaching Galinda magic/sorcery. So it's pretty weird that in the book she is trying to convince Galinda to take those classes next semester. Weird that Galinda has no interest at all when in the musical she is so excited.

I wonder how many people were upset when they read that Galinda/Glinda was a racist?

She eventually gets trapped in a mirror by the Gnome King and Momby.

I should go back and read the OG Wizard of Oz books. I have them and I know of Ozma, but more background info might help fill in some gaps.
