Really I didn’t finish the book. I did not care for the topic of lousy family relationships. Life is too short to spend time onreadind that you don’t like and I am old enough to be cranky about it. That is why there is no rating

Not finished. This is ya….

Audiobook, Libby. I may not finish this book. ~it is depressing. This is a modernized David Coperfield by Dickens. I will get a few more books and keep this to read a little at a time until it is due.

Ch 16

Up to chapter 17, but then it disappeared. I am waiting for it to return.

I a reading for my book club, rather I am listening to an audiobook. I am not that happy with it. The reader seems to shout. Also, there is a lot of repetition, along with discussion of other alcoholic drinks, I think added as filler. If it were not for the book club, I would not even try to finish. Interestingly enough, I had put it in my want to read pile.

Finished book 1

Just started. Really, this coming Friday, when I go for a three hour doctor appointment. Audiobooks relieve my anxiety about tratment to come.

I just got the book based on an interview with Terry Gross about a book that has just been published. I had never read any of her work, but there was a waiting list of over 500 at my library, so I put my name on the list and looked for another one her books mentioned on the program. I am expecting another author who I will have binge read through her body of work.
