I've been taking the bus to/from work just to get more reading time. This book is so easy to digest, so easy to get riled up, so easy to get inspired to do something!

As soon as I finish this, I'll return it to my library and demand my local councillor check it out next.

I started this before NYE, but there are so many references to Jane Jacobs's "Death and Life" that I feel compelled to finish it as pre-reading. 😅 This one will have to wait a little while longer.

My husband picked this for me based purely on the cover, thinking it would be like "the other stuff" I read.

It's all coming together! Everything, from the first chapter of the first book, is weaving into a gorgeous braid in this final 300 pages.

Normally I cycle to work but I might have to take the bus this week to turn a few more pages.

The AUDACITY to switch to first person for "NPC"! I'm a mess. 😭

I'm trying to sip this even though my slow-reading brain could gulp it down easily. It's a delightful exploration of humanity coping with the known and unknown.

If all of Robin Hobb's books are this captivating, then my TBR list is about to get much longer.
