This series really makes me emotional at times. I feel the characters emotions and guilt that they feel. I’ve lived it. This book is hard to read but I love it so much also.

I’m so excited to read more of this. I got the rest of the books on ebook cause the physicals are impossible to find. When I find them though I’m buying them, no hesitation.

I just opened up Goodreads and I have all these shelves that I never created just pop up out of nowhere. I had 15 different shelves and I only made 7 of them myself. Has this happened to anyone else? 😭

Audiobook! I haven’t listened to Dark Rise in nearly a year, so I can’t remember everyone. It’ll take a second but I’ll remember eventually hahah.

Wow, so… yea, I cried… a lot… I have two chapters left and then I’d have finished the whole thing but that was a lot. So! I’m going to finish it tomorrow. I have a headache from crying lol

I want to punch 90% of the men in this book. It’s so infuriating.

Holy shit that picked up rather quickly. I’m not a fan of the pacing in the first half but as soon as it picked up, oh BOY did it pick up fast. I was not expecting allat to happen and I still have over 9 hours left of the book.

It’s good. Not my favorite fantasy so far but I’m enjoying it.

This is interesting so far! I’ve started reading Global Examination and I’m starting to see a theme of amnesia in her novels.

The first few chapters had me feeling like this was gonna be an angsty roller coaster but I quickly realized that (thankfully) that’s not the case. What an amazing story this is so far! I’m flying through it really fast.

Damn you SevenSeas for making the volume so small though!! No wonder I’m almost done with it already!!

DNF at 17%

Ahhh I’m bored. I usually DNF books after the first chapter if it’s not catching me. But my love for Danmei has me in such a chokehold that I’ll read much past my usual limits to try and take interest in the story. I see how the premise would captivate someone but it’s just kinda boring here.

Maybe later I’ll try this again later, but for now it’s a soft dnf from me

Oof, the reviews/ratings are not looking good for this one. I have no problem with it so far, granted I’m only 40 pages in.
