So I was worried I was going to be bored since this was about debutante culture (and books are hit or miss when it comes to that setting for me) but I am genuinely invested.

So far I’m intrigued. It’s a strong 3 so far.

Had to reread. It had been calling my name for awhile now. As good as I remember. Also had to refresh my mind after the 2 recent DNFs

This is really good. Possibly a reread. The way the emotions and tension are written has me needing to put the book down and take a second to absorb.

My goodness is this tropey but the story is intriguing enough to keep me going and I’m a sucker for a seasonal fantasy book

I genuinely don’t remember when the last time I had to book down because I truly needed a break because I was overwhelmed but it just happened again. I’m so buying this series.

This is so good. Perfect fall vibes. Love that she struggled with even starting the investigation considering everything she and her family went through during the first one. Pip is very analytical and also driven I love that about her.

Dude yes. This is one of those rereads for fall. Buying the ebook so I’ll never have to wait to borrow it from the library. All the October vibes.

It’s finally picking up. Some of it has been a little clunky but loving the fact that the relationship part isn’t being rushed.

So far so good. Hoping it picks up the pace a bit soon.
