The reviews weren't lying, Calvin is utterly insane. From raping poor Hallie, to installing cameras in her house and cloning her phone to having sex with her in a deserted museum and even kidnapping her... It's definitely a lot to take in. I don't know how Hallie hasn't snapped yet out of anger and fear, the man is relentless in his pursuit of her.

Not feeling Calvin yet even though he has almost all the qualities I like in villainous MMC's. I don't get why he finds Hallie so special and it bothers me a bit, I wish it was more than lust at first sight. I also don't get why Hallie is surprised when he drugs her, like girl the man literally raped you?! I hope there's good banter in the following chapters though so I can forget about those petty complaints.

Claire's talent and her ability to make even the most heinous acts seem erotic must be studied. I didn't think I'd feel that way considering that Mark is an utterly obsessed creep with no redeeming qualities but I'd be damned if I said the smut isn't sexy...

I love how much I hate Christopher but I also hate how much I love him even after knowing what a terrible man he is. Poor Anna is struggling to retain her sanity but I'm glad she still has her temperament, makes their banter even better. Ugh, Leopold is truly nasty and the polar opposite of Daniel who is just so sweet and loveable!
