Jennifer is starting Nothing Bundt Trouble (A Bakeshop Mystery, #11)
Juliet's world gets shaken when she finds her father's journal and learns that her nose for murder may have been inherited! The format of this one is a departure for the series, but it's still all about immersing the reader in the scene, and I love it!

I'm interested in hearing what your first book of 2021 is! I seem to be reading a series of trail memoirs about hikers making their way across Japan, Scotland, and the USA. What about you?

Fascinating. Grisham begins with a geographical history of the region, explaining why Arkansas was "the last frontier". In the early 1800s, Congress appropriated $26,000 to build a federal highway from Memphis to Little Rock, but the land was so difficult to build on, the entire budget was exhausted in crossing just one county.

Pellegrino is a vivid writer. Reading about her hunts in Arkansas, Texas, and abroad, the reader is there with her, in the dawn and fog and mud.

Put down whatever you're reading and read this book. Creepy in its chill account of the sick underbelly of an ostensibly normal suburban marriage.
