Pellegrino is a vivid writer. Reading about her hunts in Arkansas, Texas, and abroad, the reader is there with her, in the dawn and fog and mud.

Put down whatever you're reading and read this book. Creepy in its chill account of the sick underbelly of an ostensibly normal suburban marriage.
