I feel like it’s taking me too long to get through this book 😫

I’m tearing through this book. I started this last night and ended stopping at just under 60%.

There’s so much allure and intrigue and I can’t wait to get to the bottom of it 😍🥵

Also the prose is fantastic.

Oookay. Okay wait a minute.

I have half a mind to stop this book just because of that 😒

Hmm this is really interesting so far but I don’t think the sex scenes are gonna be for me?

I’m not into “daddy” & CNC play soooo we’ll see. Also I’m all about communication but “dirty talk” in books is also funny to me. So much “my/your cunt” & silly things like that take away from intimacy for me :/

1st sex was “daddy” & strap scene (hot) but MC does say they like BDSM, CNC, pain, etc

Oh man, even though I saw all of the reviews saying this book is nothing like the first and borderline uncomfortable, I decided to try it out anyway.

I'm regretting that. It's just SO different and a few things have made me uncomfortable. I think I'll skim the rest so I can see what's up with the Dark Rose..

This book is so good so far!

Ugh I really wanted to like this but Harper is SO immature and smart mouthed. There’s no depth to these characters..

I’ll give it a little more time before deciding to DNF or not
