I do love that Ilya gets along so well with Shane's parents. My fiancé notes that he is very much like them on the phone. He likes to be mischievous and hesitates to end the call. Whenever he speaks with our friend they speak for more than the planned hour.

I quite like Alan Campbell and how he calls out Dorian. I feel terribly sorry for Basil. I am unhappy about how unkindly Dorian and Harry think of others and in fact I do not enjoy being into his head very much at all but I do enjoy his struggles with morality, perhaps due to schadenfreude. The gratuitous French is difficult for me as I must keep pausing my book to use Google Translate.

Chapter 11 adds nothing to the plot and it is so very boring. However I love Basil, he's so romantic, and I despise how Dorian treated Sigyl yet it is a good display of good and evil warring within him.
