I’m sorry, how big are these tentacles 🤢 I don’t think I get the appeal of monster romance. I am reading for vasz though and I like the authors sense of humor so the rest of the book is at least enjoyable

I don’t think the timeline is right, but is Eric Cameron’s dad? Is that the point of his perspective? I’m not sure how I feel about listening to a perspective of a person not mentioned in the synopsis

This book is not something I’m interested in or would typically read at all, but the audiobook was highly recommended (and I can borrow it through my library) because of the octopus perspective. Although the characters are very humanized I couldn’t care less about them

“A crocheted yellow cozy, probably a project someone knitted once back when knitting was something the knitwits actually did at their weekly meetings.” Ooooo, as someone who knits and crochets this statement makes me so mad

Bass’s perspective are the best thing ever 😂😂😂 I don’t care about the rest of the book I just want to know what the shark dog is thinking

Well it’s intriguing enough with perfectly placed chapter breaks that I gave up 2 hours of sleep because I didn’t want to put it down. Definitely the weirdest book I have read though

They really are just running with the Ambrose is her half brother thing even though there is no concrete proof other than that ‘very soon’. It’s all conjecture

‘The damned books! Surely not.’ Did he not mention that if they get married they wouldn’t have to fight over the books. Come on lady that’s all that he wants, he doesn’t want you and he’s 20 years your senior. I hate how dense women in this genre of books are sometimes when it comes to nefarious motivations

Ugh. This is why I don’t like Victorian era inspired books. Falling in love in a week, the super formal impersonal way of speaking (I know that prim and proper has meaning and fits with the time, but I can never read it any other way than posh people jabbing at each other) and b/c a man has acted gentlemanly and kind enough the FMC will accept his marriage proposal even though as a reader he is sooooo shady

Well for being called how to find a nameless fae she found him VERY quickly 😂 caught my eye because it’s a rumplestilzkin retelling but I don’t know how to feel about the cat ears and tail….its expressive and funny I can’t believe I didn’t look closely at the cover
