It seems the falling devil makes you relive trauma as you fall. The artist uses this to give us more backstory for Asa and to show us the scenes of Power and Aki just before they died. Unlike the chef imagery, this actually relates to falling it probably represents your life flashing before your eyes.

I like Denji calling Asa his potential ex-girlfriend instead of his potential girlfriend, his excited but pessimistic dream is hilarious

I like the falling devil collecting pieces of human as ingredients as nonchalantly grocery shopping. It’s very chilling although what does being a chef have to do with falling all the other devils powers and character design have to do with their name

I like the design of the falling devil holding its own decapitated head above its neck it reminds me of the Junji Itō short story. Although I don’t understand the chef imagery

So Yoru cannot take control if Asa is frightened that that’s going to be an interesting limitation for Asa’s character development

I love all of the bodies, falling upwards into a solid black sky and makes the panels so compelling

Oh my God, Asa’s backstory keeps getting worse and worse. The lady at the orphanage she lived in, killed the cat she had because it was unfair for her to have a “family member” when the other others did not how twisted and messed up

This artist just loves to incorporate female nudity in the designs of his devils and I find it completely unnecessary

The panel of all of the civilians falling from the apartment building was incredible

They had a series of conflicts make a contract with the future as an experiment and ask when they would die. Most of them was a date in 1999 and the rest was right at the moment Yoshida was asking famine about this. He theorized it was related to Nostradamus predictions. A French seer, whose predictions allegedly became accurate. I’m going to have to do some digging into these predictions

The scene of all of the people looking down from the building at Asa is so chilling

It seems Nayuta is protective fir good reason, she’s not wrong every girl/women interested in Denji has tried to kill him

I think Denji learned to cook from Aki, it’s kinda sweet how possessive Nayuta is over her big brother

The panel of Yoru coming out was so chilling and well done

The way famine and Yoshida look at each other is suspicious. As well as Yoshida asked Denji if he would kill the death devil

So Denji is trying to save up college money for his little sister that’s sweet

Denji is really sweet trying to cheer Asa up

Asa has tripped at the worst moment again. I love the use of perspective in the never ending hallway and how it brings focus to Asa

I like that Yoru and Asa are looking for someone between cat and criminal and pick Denji. He’s a bit of a scumbag like a criminal and hates a lot of people but loves a few like a cat. It’s a perfect description of him

Guilt make a weapon stronger, I like the metaphor in that

Asa would rather kill a human than a cat, I think she’s a good match for Denji

How does this Iseumi guy have a chainsaw start in his chest

It looks like Chainsawman killed Yuko but we see that Denji is at home asleep with his dogs

I love Ass giving Yuko her shoes and quoting was she said when Yuko gave her her shoes it’s a sweet ending
