I feel a three star read coming on.

This book is cute and a nice, easy read, but it’s all tell and no show. The chapters are very short and jump between scenes quickly, meaning there’s no build up between the characters.

I need build up.

I want angst and desperation and drama. The lack of any of that is killing me, because the bones are there for a really gorgeous read.

Kiersten has to be one of the most psychotic characters I’ve ever read 😅
