Stuffing my Kindle with 300+ books from BRAE has slowed my reading down A LOT these last few days, but I'm ready to get back on track and excited for all the new reads I have!!!!! 🤓

I absolutely freaking LOVE Lana's character!!! 🫡

Is it bad that I'm disappointed that the author isn't giving us more descriptive details of what these serial k*llers are doing!? 🫢 ...what can I say? I like my crime thrillers a bit gory and heavy on the trigger warnings.

I cannot get enough of the “Criminal Minds” vibes! I am fully invested in this Boogeyman case! 😧

Lana and Logan are actually too freaking cute together!

Reading this reminds me how much I enjoy YA and why I should read it more often! ☺️

Ooooh, Caz is getting to experience Willow's world now and I know this is about to be a TIME! A very hilarious, entertaining, spicy time. 😝

Still loving Carter and his straightforwardness.

For some reason, I actually like Carter. Not sure why, but he's definitely more likeable than Quinn is rn. I wanna see some character development from them both tho.

I love the fact that I can already tell we are going to get so much more of Caz and his backstory in this book!!! 🥹👏🏾

FINALLY! About 350+ pages in and Caz FINALLY gives Willow that long & strong!!! 😏😜 And I am NOT disappointed & neither is Willow!

I hope to see some character development from Quinn because she's a little unlikeable rn tbh.

The world building is excellent and very immersive! I'm fully invested in this connection between Willow and Caz, and I also wanna know more about Caz and the mystery / suspense surrounding him.

As a Black woman... This is an extremely heavy, undeniably impactful, necessary read! 💔 I am equally enraged and saddened by the treat of Black women throughout history.

After just listening to the preface and introduction chapter of this book, I already know I will be needing a physical copy in order to fully grasp how profound this read really is.

But I will still give it a full listen while grabbing the knowledge I can before a thorough reread!
