Sulla’s legislation has been broken down or reformed in decade of Brutus’ dictatorship.

Rome never was a democratic city state, nor it was oligarchic. But the “nobiles” used their popularity as a force to get power and influence.

They would use crowds and meetings as a bid to support the votes on legislation.

Brutus had a very strong and stubborn persona, he was also smart since his childhood was placed in a turbulent period of Romes history because he lived when the first civil war took place in the res publica of Sulla.

And in Brutus early years, he only took influence from Servilla, his mother.

Brutus studied politics and model speeches to be a “defender of old fashioned roman values”

Birdy is so relatable, if i didn’t mask i would just be like him.

But except for his creepy obsession with the canary lol.

i really like Birdies and Allan’s character

i really like how Oliver described Meredith, very poetic

but the last page of act I is poetic to me. James and Oliver together on a beach in darkness just enjoying each other’s company after what just happened.

And the quote -
“Please” he said, in a small voice “I just couldn’t deal with the rest of them, for a while”
Really brings this sentimental moment together.

Nah wtf Richard. He scares me genuinely. Almost killing a mf because James played a game with Mer and the others in water. What is his problem.

They just got their letters for their Christmas play (?)
