The Tomb: this was mostly just sad
The Transition of Juan Romero: meh
The Tree: SUCH GAY VERY NO HOMO, also very nice

The Strange High House in the Mist: pretty nice
The Street: cool concept, still racist!
The Temple: this was ok, nothing special
The Terrible Old Man: racism aside, I liked this!
The Thing on the Doorstep: misogynistic AF but otherwise pretty good

The Shunned House: Unbelievably pretentious pile of boring garbage.
The Silver Key: this was good!
The Statement of Randolph Carter: mostly boring

The Outsider: I liked this a lot!
The Picture in the House: so, we're being racist to Scandinavians now? 🙄
The Quest of Iranon: pompous dialogue aside, this was quite lovely
The Rats in the Walls: ohhh, I liked this, too!

The Moon-Bog: properly creepy
The Music of Erich Zan: this was also pretty good
The Other Gods: this was also pretty good

The Evil Clergyman: A bit meh, okay but ultimately forgettable.

The Horror at Red Hook: Frothing-from-the-mouth racism aside, I liked the story.

The Hound: A woe-is-me story of two dudes who start to rob graves for their creepy ”museum” and find out it’s not a good idea. Pretty okay.

The Lurking Fear: Kind of good but the racism... *sigh*

The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath:
This was a continuous wall of text with no scene breaks, super tedious and exhausting to read, which is why I ended up scrolling most of it. I did like the ending, though.

The Cats of Ulthar: a good one! fuck around and find out aka if you kill cats, the cats will eat you. serves you right.
The Descendant: a disjointed fragment of a potential longer story.
The Doom That Came to Sarnath: another fuck around and find out story. predictable but okay.
