ABO has never been a favorite genre/trope of mine, but the last few years I’ve read a bit more, bc it fits Edward and Izzy’s dynamic (in ofmd) so well, with Izzy’s obsession and devotion without question, Ed as his sole purpose… and there’s a lot of fic… and honestly if this is trying at it, it just falls flat, the most interesting part of it is not the sex/knotting part…

Not the point, but I wanted to share!! Starting the Rei AKA Rita chapter, so maybe on point, I went to this talk on Sailor Moon today by the Portuguese publisher, and it was the original Japanese publisher that made it part of the deal for the rights that they had to keep the original names!!!

My friend has been recommending me this book for months!!! And it was finally added to BiblioLed, so it's my chance to try it out, and so far this is adorable and she was so right to suggest it to me!!!

We have met Ami now and she’s the sweetest girl!!! And also I find her quite relatable to who I was at that age!!! (Also now also feeling nostalgic about my friend that when we were 5/6 and played Sailor Moon, she was always Ami - I wonder if she knows the manga has been published here, or she’s even interested in reading it - the anime meant the world to us!!!)

I really don’t wanna read it too fast… this is bringing me so much joy… she just run into Gonçalo for the first time and he called her “cabeça de bolos de arroz” which is iconic!!! (But also her being introduced as being in 9th grade, and if I remember right he’s studying medicine…)

Also interesting that they kept the original names, so no more Bunny… but learned that’s actually Usagi!!!

Worried about where they’re planning to go with Aimee and Kevin…

First thing, I really appreciate knowing more about Aimee, especially bc I really feel that the show dropped the ball with her at the end of s1, here we understand her place a bit better!!!

Secondly, I love getting more of the GR!!! It's way more casual & day-to-day but you understand it better, bc you're with Laurie at all times!!! Also need to know more about this gay couple - I need their backstory & reasoning!!!

I think Nora and Kevin are actually happening in the book!!! I'm very curious!!! These two don't seem as fucked up as they do in the show, so I'm wondering how it will go, because in the show is very much freak recognizes freak, and here they're just dancing at the ball (which also finale feels!!!!)

I want more angst from this book... I want more toxic behavior and anger, and actually things coming head to head... I know they're rivals/enemies even, but it's not even angry enough... And I'm not a fan of enemies to lovers, but I LOVE toxic and dysfunctional vampires and Misery is so put together!!!

This man sucks!!! We already knew that about Nora's husband, and the type of husband he is, but reading the email he left for the girl he was also sleeping with - "four stars"!!! It just also feels passive aggressive!!!

While I cannot picture Justin Theroux at all as this Kevin, I want Carrie Coon doing this Nora scenes so badly!!! I LOVE Nora here so much as well, and I would have loved to see her slight acting choices during these small moments!!!

Kevin’s mentality here about grief and remembrance makes a lot of sense to explain why the Guilty Remnant started popping up!!!

The book is finally here, instead of me reading other things and comparing it to the show!!! This is already giving me more of the world - I LOVED seeing Laurie post Departure - but also chapter 1 starting with global warming does 2% of population disappearing have a positive impact in the environment??

The exploration of the characters are so good, I freaking love Serena so much!!! And now we got Mitch and it’s so interesting!!! And I really like how the book approaches how each of them thinks of themselves and the relationship with the otherness in them… so good!!!
