The literal worst nickname in the history of ever “Horse girl” REALLY?!?! That’s the best name you could come up with Laura!? Axel is annoying as heck and I’m forcing myself to finish this one

It is finally picking up a little. The beginning of this book is a grind. I wanted to put it down so many times but the promise of what’s to come has kept me going.

While it’s good, I find myself getting a little bored… I felt like the beginning of Quicksilver was like that though so I will definitely push through

I am so confused…

Right now this book is too emotionally taxing. Going to put it down and come back to it.

It’s better than I expected after the reviews but the constant arguments between everyone is getting really annoying. There is a huge difference between banter and constant arguments. This book has crossed the threshold of being entertaining. It seams like they are trying to make Scarlett like Aelin but thus far Scarlett has to be one of the most unlikable FMC’s I’ve ever experienced.

I feel like this series is the same story over and over. I’m exhausted with this storyline. It’s like there are just new ways to torture the same people for the same reasons. It’s getting really old. I’m putting this book down for a while. Maybe I’ll finish another time but right now I’m over it.
