Unfortunately it’s a terrible beautiful book and of course it’s awful and I’m a big fan and I don’t want to finish it because it’s too long and yet I must. I must push through and finish this book. It’s terrible. Big fan. Big hater. I love it.

Now that im more into this book, im liking it a lot more than I thought I was going to - I’m always looking for better ways to explain to my social justice students that working toward progress is never that exclusive or rigid and I think this is gonna be helpful in relaying that in a way that makes more sense

Ugh ugh ugh such an amazing writer obviously but I’ve mainly known her for her feminist theory work- so I’ve been really loving owning a physical copy of this book and being able to slowly make my way through its big old contents
