Well, my reading slump is at it’s peak😏 So I’ve been watching more tv, and the new miniseries on Netflix based on Harlan Coben’s novel “I will find you” is sooo freaking good. The twists are mindblowing🤯 The end of episode 7 had my jaw on the floor cus what the hell?!!! I did not expect that😳😱🤯 Highly recommend!

Me wondering why I’m not in any mood to read, but also me 24/7 replaying “God, you look good” and “Because you’re mine” in Nick Leister (Matthew Broome) voice. 2 more days until they are on my screen🙌🏼 Yes, I am obsessed with the London version. I watched My Fault London too many times🫣 And yes, I know what will happen in Your Fault London and I hate it but I still love them😩💔

I saw a tiktoker/booktoker/influencer mocking people who are liking/enjoying Every Year After more than Off Campus, and calling the new show corny and being Hallmark/lifetime. Well, not everyone want to see tits, ass, and penises on our screen. So, sue me if I’m enjoying my “Hallmark” tv show. I swear some people never heard of subjectivity. Social media and its people used to be more tolerable🙄

So, I’ve already watched 2 episodes of Every Year After. And no, I didn’t read the book cus I knew what the spoiler is and that book is not for me. But since I don’t have any connection to the book, I wouldn’t care about any changes. Safe to say, I really like the show so far. I even got emotional a few times🥺 The acting is good, and you can feel their chemistry and their longing.

“Then stop talking and start worshipping.”

I wrapped a hand around his silver hair and jerked his head backward, thrusting my hips into him hard enough to make him gasp. “And if I hold you by the wings and fuck you senseless? Because that’s exactly what I’m going to do.”

“Hello, lover,” the angel said. As soon as I was within arm’s reach, he grabbed me around the waist and yanked me against his chest, crushing his mouth to mine.

He took my hand and lifted it between us before kissing each knuckle slowly.

You, of all people, should know that, lamb.” He brushed the salty droplets away with his thumb, offering me a small, sad smile before he turned and headed toward Beliar 😭💔

“Still, as I was swept away from the battlefield to my own personal prison in the deepest pits of Hell, I could hear Phelan’s voice over my own tormented screams. Maybe that was as close to Heaven as I’d ever be again. To have been loved by him, against all odds.”

Pressing my lips to his, I tried to kiss away the sadness and the saltiness of his tears. 😩💔😭

“In the blink of an eye, I gave up everything—for you! Because for reasons I will never understand, I somehow mean more to you than I do to any of them. Stupid lamb or not, I trust you, Remiel, not them. And now I’ll find the ring and kill Hazael once and for all. For you. You ungrateful, self-centered, psychotic asshole!”

“And I’m not negotiating. You have three seconds to let him go. Or I’ll burn what’s left of this barn to the fucking ground with everyone inside of it.”
“You would murder innocent people to free this monster? After everything you’ve been taught?!” Hester yelled.
I met her glare with one of my own. “Absolutely.“

“I’m yours,” I reassured him, pressing kisses to his face and down the side of his neck to his shoulder. “I’ll always be yours.”
He wrapped his arms around me tighter, holding me.
I smiled to myself, nuzzling the curve of his shoulder.
His wings shifted and stretched, wrapping around us.

“Why?” I asked quickly. “Why did you do it?”

“Because you’re mine, pet.” He practically growled his reply, locking his narrowed gaze on me, as if daring me to challenge his statement. “And no one touches what’s mine without permission.”
