there’s a part of the book where for me it felt like we camped at too long. felt a big dragged on but once we made it past it felt like the story was moving again…ALSO, just got to the scary part! it’s a slow scary, like…think of ‘Nope’ the movie, how we kept getting teases of the bbeg. we’re just scratching the surface i feel like. scarier when you’re reading at night. or listening anyway.

hit the ground running! my fourth T.K book. I read her sworn soldier series a while back and they absolutely riiippped! such a fun read in a genre i didn’t think i would enjoy. im such a baby when it comes to horror. at least in movies, but in this medium it’s genuinely a good time.

oh yeah. this an insane finish. incredible series and i cannot wait for the next book. seriously you guys gotta get on the audio book it’s SO GOOD!😭😭 yeah dude. 100% this series is s-tier.

read when the baby sleeps. listen when driving to work. listen when opening the coffee shop and vice versa. listen in the drive home. listen when doing errands. if you listen to anything this year, dungeon crawler carl gotta be in your queue. dude this story is so much fun, heartfelt, funny, angry, all of it. i brought listening speed down from 1.5 to 1.0 cuz i really don’t want this to end. Matt Dinnimin is a gem

i’m pretty sure i’m way over 50%, i’m in ch47 and this book is such a wild ride! pun fully intended. audiobook is def the way to go with DCC series. the physical books are purely trophies and also pineapple cabernet at the end of the book. man i’m loving this.

i actually don’t know if this is where i’m at. i know i’m in ch 10. i’m listening to the audiobook, it’s SO GOOD.

0-100 in a month lol. can’t believe it took me so long to finish this one. super dumb read, it gave the last of us part 2 story structure vibes and truthfully it was v much enjoyable. great story, awesome world building and killer imagination fight sequences. highkey recc.

GR, i actually finished the book but wanted one last check in. oohhhman! was not ready for that ending. my mind went in about 4-6 different directions to how it would end. and how it ended was absolutely perfect. it gave tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow vibes. loved it. recc it. yeah. i really enjoyed this book.

GR, hit the ground running and couldn’t wait to unlock this one. a recc from my wife who got it recc’d by our friend. super fun listen so far. it gives Tomorrow&Tommorrow&Tommorrow vibes.

GR, cuz i like having one last check in before finishing up a book. getting back into this book was awesome. felt like we started back up without missing a beat. highly captivating, funny moments, the voice acting is S-tier fr. if you’re reading these i would HIGHLY encourage the audio book cuz A+ work all around. anyway, my next book credit doesn’t hit for another couple weeks so imma do a small side quest 4now.

GR, oooh man! dang it i caved and got audible cuz they have DCC. just take all my money jeff geez. anyway! i’m absolutely flying through this book! and it’s so much fun, like i forgot how much fun this was. listening whilst reading along to retain more info is helpful. did i mention it was fun? oh boy! here i go almost hitting the maximum character count limit. heheh i’m just trolling at this point. k well c ya

GR, it feels so good stepping back into the DCC series. i read when i can, usually between shifts and after baby gorl goes to bed. if you’re familiar with the books, on the cover, under the jacket of every book is a line of the book or a carl quote. on this book it’s got ‘f💀ck the cheese dicks’ in gold letters. i will purposely carry this with me without the cover to spark a convo. it’s happened 4x.

GR, yeaaahhh buddyyy!! after a few months i’m finally getting back into the crawl. i got a couple hours between putting baby girl down and bedtime and i know exactly how ill spend em. aaanyway, let’s get out there and kill! kill! kill!

GR, i totally forgot to update this. i finished the book but wanted to have an entry that wasn’t the review. also i’m realizing im just burning characters instead of updating. okay for real now, yeah i finished it. dope. loved it. amazing ending. heartfelt, hearty, wholesome. what a wild ride. anyway enough side quests. let’s get back to carl and princess donut. it’s been too long. time to finish this crawl

GR, i’m back to physical books! pacing and reading is the new cardio. Saturdays are for reading and putting my daughter to sleep.

GR, man being in a band is tough. i mean i always thought it was just hanging with the homies, obvi working together and everyone’s grinding to complete albums, write songs, do photoshoots (which highkey shooting a band for their cover album sounds so fun) second highkey if you’re in a band and want photos hit me up, cuz that sounds so much fun.
