It’s not lost on me that this is the third book I’ve read this month that portrays inappropriate teacher-student relationships. Very unintentional coincidence.

I can’t think of a single person that I would recommend this book to, not because it’s “bad”, but because it’s fucked up. Not sure what that says about me though…

Also, fantastic narrator.

By far one of the best narrators I’ve encountered in a long time.

This book has an incredibly bad habit of repeating (sometimes multiple times) snippets of dialogue that happened a few pages ago.

Idk how the author managed to make Medusa’s story boring, but here we are… 🥱

Hey, it’s me again, trying to force myself to like Greek retellings.

I forgot how much I liked dystopian books as a teen.

Wow the author really made the FMC a total asshole for the end of the book.

I’m gonna be honest here, I don’t particularly like this book.

I don’t want to start this over, but my dumb dumb brain would have benefited from a glossary. For the life of me, I don’t think I could have figured out what animals big ears and dirty faces are. It’s like a forgot that mules exist.

I get the impression that this book would be way better as a physical read. Audio’s not bad, it’s just hard to multitask to because of the pastor’s writing style and the amount of names and places.
