I thought it would be fun to read my hold in rainbow order but it's actually not very fun at all.

I really don’t believe that anyone in their right mind would bring their fucking bikes to stay at a reclusive millionaire writer’s house.

The first chapter really threw me off for some reason. I had to listen to it like 3 times? Is ‘summer romance’ actually considered a trope because I’ve never really thought about summer romance that way.

I don’t like either of the narrators; they don’t mesh well together.

I’m not… super impressed with the direction this book is going. It’s the last book in the trilogy and I just feel like the issues I’ve had with the other books have been magnified.

When you have 2 hours left of your audiobook but you have to stop at a major cliffhanger because you have a dentist appointment early in the morning and need to go to bed.

For some reason I expected this book to not live up to the hype of the movie (which I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen?), but boy was I wrong!

Idk why but Hayden saying “you can basically always assume that I’m not just being polite” is a red flag to me.

Apparently only reading books with red on the cover~

I actively dislike the historical tie-ins. I get the context and worldbuilding they’re trying to add, but it takes me out of the story.

Reading classics gives me flashbacks to AP English and makes me feel horrendously stupid. So no surprises here if I DNF.

This could be totally out of pocket, but I feel like Daphne doesn’t exist.

Hoping to finish this tomorrow~

Rereading this feels a little bit like a chore. Idk if I remember the plot better than I thought I did or if Gabriel is more annoying the second time around.

Kinda weird that Chloe is the only character’s name I actually remembered.

Cheeky banter is my favorite.
