I've never read or watched a Nicholas Sparks book/movie, so I'm going in completely blind. Mainly bought this book because it has Channing Tatum on the cover and he's an actor I enjoy watching in different films.

Can I have a Gideon to teach me the ways of the bedroom? 😂

Little Ossha has such a nice ring when Fisher speaks it. The man's voice alone gives me chills and even Ren's gets me time to time. Gah, remind me to keep listening to dual narrated audiobooks because it's been such a pleasure to my ears. 😉

Hokay, this book is... Something else. The author said it's best to go in without knowledge of the book, so I was completely unprepared for how open the doors are. Like, I'm talking barn doors thrown open and now they're stuck. The story itself is good and I'm wanting to slap Tem because she's being an indecisive 20 year old girl, but what else is new with the romantasy genre?

This is the first ever advent book I've read and I'm loving it. Each chapter is supposed to be read on a certain day, like chapter 7 was read on October 7th. I'm in the discussion group on Facebook and seeing other's theories is nice as well. Definitely a book to be read and enjoyed this Halloween season. The story is keeping me hooked and eager to read the next day's chapter as soon as I can for that day.

I have to remind myself that Bella is 17 years old and not closer to my age. I'll be reading her getting worked up over little things, to remember she's a teenager in a new town and she's got her first crush.

The first dinner scene gave me major "Beauty and the Beast" vibes where the Beast saves Belle from the wolves. Also, I love how Saeris is bound to Fisher's bed excluding bathroom breaks, and she "hates" thinking about him. I see you... I am curious as to what it implicates with Saeris choosing to sit on Fisher's right side, outside of it being the place his wife/mate would sit.

Knowing what I know from reading The Hunger Games when they came out, I'm picking up a lot of tidbits of foreshadowing and even history on some of the items. Also, I wasn't expecting to feel sad for District 12 within the first 100 pages, but they are the last district for a reason. I'm eager to see how Haymitch navigates the arena in his own way and learn his history more.

I STG, if I have to read yet another "Lenore Dove", imma scream. I get it. That's her name, but come on, Haymitch, enough is enough.

I picked this book up because I liked the cover art, the matte finish for the cover feels nice, and the male protagonist turns into a horse during the day and goes back to his handsome self at night.

I have also taken to highlighting all the horse comments/jokes simply because they're amusing, and I want to see how many there actually are.

Reading about the mockingjay pin and its origin wasn't something I expected. It has been a while since I last read "The Hunger Games" trilogy, so I may miss some other Easter eggs mentioned, but I'll be looking for them now.

I like how Murhder seems to be the first vampire/Brotherhood to question his draw to a human female as his mate. I don't think I have yet to encounter that in the series, and it made me chuckle. I have had this same thought as I read the series mainly because the Brothers are centuries old and outside of Tohrment, and the others haven't been in genuine relationships.

Holy guacamole, Batman! I'm listening to the graphic audio version of this book and whooo boy. That first spicy scene? 10/10 acting. The audio book was audio booking, and I had to pause folding my laundry until the scene was over. 🫢

If this is how it starts off, I can't wait to listen to the rest of the book and feel like I'm actually there, watching it all. With a giant bowl of popcorn and a slushie. ✌️

Hokay, so... Tall, dark, mysterious man that's into the female protagonist because it's "destiny"? Check

He's also a ruler of some kind and is feared by most, yet deep down, he's a teddy bear? Double check

The female protagonist is described as a waith of a woman, yet has a darker side? Triple check

All that's missing is the loveable side character that makes the whole thing bearable for the female and it's good.

Wasn't expecting to love Butcher and Blackbid as much as I am, yet here I am, waiting to see what happens next.

Also, I'm glad I'm lactose intolerant. I can't look at ice cream the same way now... 🤮

I am extremely glad I picked this book up when I did and came back to it after my hiatus. Gavin is out here doing his best to win Thea back, and I love him for that. Yet Thea's sister, Liv, can jog off. I get her wanting to protect Thea, but let her make her own decisions again.

I'm truly hoping that Darcy is able to figure things out. Tory and Darius are such a cute couple and how Darius worries for Tory is adorable. Seth and Caleb are exploring what they are to each other and Lance is a blood brother to Caleb. Much has happened in a little over half the book, making me curious how the rest of the book will go.

ARCHER! ARCHER! ARCHER! I don't know why I love him so much, but I do. Him and Milly have wonderful chemistry together on their own, and then when the other boys are involved... ;) Wonder how Milly will deal with the not liked lady and if Milly will reveal her secret to this lady.
