Was it a decent book? Yes. But it felt like a bunch of tropes were just being shoved into it and she couldn’t accept the rejection even after he said it multiple times and still acted hurt when she tried again. Like I need you to pick a side and stick with. She quite literally just pissed me off a lot

I craved for a bit more and I felt as though the middle got a bit dry and not super interesting but I enjoyed the ending and seeing that Emmy went to the Olympics and keeping in mind that Maverick IS THE STANDARD. (Let’s be so fr I was in it for them this whole time) I am excited to see what happens with garret next.
