Oh my god that was actually tragic. Such a good book but oh my god!

So far so good! Not too much to say other than I love how Autumn isn’t scared to wear what she wants and not be scared of getting judged- the Tiaras r kinda peakk 👸🏻

I love how this book has Autumn be a less popular fmc rather than one who gets everything she wants! I don’t really see Autumn and Jamie as a good couple considering the amount of times she keeps thinking to herself that she loves him when other stuff happens.

Still in denial that I’ve finished this series! Evangeline is such a sweet character, and I’m glad they didn’t make her stupid like many other fmcs. Stephanie knows how to write good characters! Jacks’ character development was insane and I’m so glad that he trusted her in the end & realised that he could in fact have love. That ending was so sweet and I’m so happy she didn’t die! 🦊💗🍎🏹

THEY BROKE JACKS’ KILLING KISS CURSE AHHHH!!!!! This is by far my favourite book of the entire series and omg the yearning was so sweet! LaLa was such a nice character through the books, even though she had her problems, too! Apollo is so annoying and I’m so glad the tree gave him what he deserved. Evangeline and Jacks have got to be one of the best written couples I’ve ever ref about, like ever!🦊🍎

The beginning really pained me as I struggled with the fact that Evangeline couldn’t remember jacks! The plot of this book just kept twisting and twisting though, and Jacks’ character has really developed through this series along with Evangeline’s. The nickname ‘Little Fox’ will forever be my favourite and I love how much he truly cared about her, even if he’d never admit it! 🦊💗🍎🏹

I’ve been so pants at writing these lately but this book was so good! Apollo is number one on the opps list rn because of that ending and I can’t wait to start reading the next book!! Stephanie Garber is an amazing author!

I cannot belive the amount of insane plot twists that Stephanie Garber has put into this book alone! I kind of guessed who jacks really was but I was definitely questioning every detail of every chapter! The valory arch didn’t contain what I expected either and I’m excited to know more about that!

Such a good book! I loved the plot even though it was ever so slightly dodgey at points. Tella has grown on me as a character and I still can’t get enough of Scarlette & Juliannn 🥹

April & her parents had the Favres round for Christmas Eve as their power went out, meaning that Eva, Jimmy, Augustin, April, April’s parents & Eva’s were there! April’s dad accepted Augustin finally and April’s parents might’ve got back together! They all ate together happily, & after the meals they did karaoke and opened gifts. Augustin’s gift to April was a polished wooden heart to give her strength.

Augustin was on her balcony and April let him in and they talked for a while about what they’d said to eachother. They then spent the night together and April woke him up the next morning to speak with her parents together. He was scared her dad would hate him. They went downstairs and surprisingly April’s mum was ok with them and it was April’s dad who had a problem. April said he’d accept it or lose her.

An avalanche hit overnight and Eva came over saying that Augustin hasn’t came home. April & Her parents, Eva & her parents & Jimmy were all panicking trying to find him. Eventually they learnt that he was safe, however Jimmy had been badly injured by it but was ok. April is still blocked by Agustin and Eva told her that he had came home after all of it. Just as she went to bed someone knocked on her balcony door.

April has been told to break up with Augustin by her parents, so she did. She’s heartbroken about it. Eva took her on a walk in the snow as they’re stuck in the town with it so she & her mum can’t go back to Lyon yet. Eva told her to tell Agustin she really does love him & wants to be with him still, but she said she needed to think. Her parents were dancing together when she got back & she was furious at them

April woke up in the hospital yet again. She was hooked up to heart monitors & was unable to sleep due to nurses poking and prodding at her every 2 hours. She forgot her phone charger & was so bored until Augustin arrived. He blames himself for what happened to her but she blames herself. Eva came with her dad & they made up. Her mum came after and gave a speech’s about being careful and to stop seeing Augustin.

April had a row with both of her parents about not telling them where she was last night. Even her mum phoned her and got angry at her. She wanted to go skiing with Augustin to blow off some steam and it was busy so she suggested a backcountry route. It was going well and she was feeling great until they neared the end. She started feeling dizzy, she fell into the snow, said she couldn’t breathe and passed out.

Aprils mum texts her to talk about the argument the next day and she finds a note from her dad saying that he’ll take her to a restaurant for dinner. To take her mind off the argument from earlier, April takes a walk into town where she meets Jeff and he kind of apologises to her. April goes to talk about Augustin’s reputation with girls with him and they spend the night at a family friend’s chalet together

Eva and April had a massive argument and Eva is refusing to talk to April. Jimmy apologises and goes to find Eva. Later on the next day, April runs into Eva at the blue yeti and tries to mend things. It just makes it worse as Eva continues saying that Augustin only wants her because she’s pretty and will be a quick fling. Her parents then try to talk to her about it.

Augustin took April skiing to help get her confidence back up on some basic slopes. They had a great time although she fell over a lot. They went up to a viewing bridge that was shut and got told off by the guard. Jimmy and Eva saw them kissing and Eva was fuming with April.

Evangeline Fox can sense magic. Her parents died so she lives with her Step-mum Anne and step sister Marisol- who’s going to marry Luc, Evangeline’s “one true love”. She went home after making a deal with Jacks, the prince of hearts to stop their wedding to find her family all turned to stone in her garden. She disobeyed Jacks’ judgement and took their place as a statue, woke up and is at a party for her.

April asked her dad if he still loved her mother and stuff about their divorce then went round to Eva’s house to do some studying where Eva said things had cleared up with Jimmy and April asked her what she’d think if she dated a Augustin, her brother, and she only replied negatively. Augustin got home when April was leaving and they almost got caught by Eva! He then drove her home and scheduled another meet up!

In Les Lindarets April and Augustin got a Cable car to a mountain where April finally kissed him!! They then trekked to a village where they went and got some food and had an honest chat about what Eva said about Augustin being a player and what Eva and Jimmy had done the night before and how they were going to try at starting a relationship together!!

Augustin wanted to talk to April about what Eva said about him only wanting girls for “a fun time” and April agreed to meet him again just the two of them somewhere else. Eva revealed that she slept with Jimmy and was scared he thought she was an “easy lay” but then they went ice skating and she was ok again. Eva told April that because Augustin broke up with a girl she tried to kill herself and it shook her

Eva & April went to the Blue Yeti for karaoke so that Eva could talk to Jimmy. He wasn’t there so they went to her parents’ shop so Eva can change out of her small dress where they saw Jimmy & Augustin. Then they go bowling in Avoriaz but all of them are stopped by a snow storm & they go into a Chalet. Eva and Jimmy are talking loads! Augustin DM’s April to come meet him in the living room after UNO!!

LYNN PAINTER THE WOMAN YOU ARE!! I loved this book so much!! Dani’s character developed so much during this book & I felt almost everything she did. I love how she included an anxious character as it really resonates with people who also suffer from anxiety! Alec’s character was also so well written & I loved how hockey (& Dani) mad he was! They are genuinely the sweetest book-couple freaking in the world ever!

Dani and Alex got back together in that very hospital bed just before the nurse, Dani’s Grampa, mum and Alec’s parents walked in on that. It was sooo cute! The Southview Packers finally won their big tournament and a mural of them was painted and it made even Mick Boche cry. Dani got into Harvard as well! Dani and Alec have re-started their letter writing tradition as a happy couple and start uni in the fall!!!
