At 20%, literally nothing happens. Nothing. At all. Words are repeated over and over and over and nothing mafia so far. Nothing against contemporary, but I picked up a mafia book for a reason.

I feel like a lot of their problems would solved if she added "because he's going to kill you" when she says back up. I'm just saying. But, I suppose if you're in fight or flight for that long, not everything filters through.

Scarlett is far too naive for her own good. Rube is the one saving the book for me at this point.
