Was reluctant to read this book bc I thought it was modern day CEO romance LMAOO. It's not. It's soo good! Started yesterday morning and already halfway through between reading and audiobook.

Hate reading/listening at this point.

1) the audiobook is actually TERRIBLE. Like, I don't think the narrators remember the different voices the use for each character because they CHANGE without warning OR consistency.
2) the flashbacks could've been SO clever. Maybe it is more noticeable while reading, but NOT in the audiobook.
3) sloppy as fuck. Where are we? What is this setting? Ugh

Having the HARDEST time envisioning the setting. It's listed as ancient times on romanceio, but it's giving star wars? Just feels very haphazard.

Tbh I'm almost uncomfortable with Mers rage and bloodlust bc the author has given us nothing to work with
