I’m marking this day in history. The first time EVER I liked a movie adaptation cover better than the original. I just love Blake Lively - she’s beautiful, talented, smart.

So I went to Key West this weekend where Robert the Doll lives - I didn’t get to see him, that’s actually by appointment only and a signed waiver. Odd for me, this is the first vacation where I didn’t do anything spooky. Who am I?
But no Robert the Doll - though I desperately wanted to see him. That’ll be next trip I suppose. So I’m settling for the book.

Emails never find me well. And definitely hesitate to contact me with any questions.

Yesterday, booktok had me all wound up needing to read this book. And Amazon (I know, I know - hisssssss, bricks and mortar bookshops and Indie Bookshops are my main jam) has that damn “buy now” button. So here we are. Let’s goooooooo

I went out today to celebrate Indie Bookstore Day and found this in one of my local shops.
It had me at the title!

Okay okay… The hype has me cracking this sucker open today.

🥳 I saw something today that My Best Friend’s Exorcism is being made in to a movie (coming out in Sept!).
I haven’t even read the book yet, and I’m super excited!

I picked this up today at BN - I didn’t read the synopsis, I didn’t check GoodReads for friend’s reviews… because so far I’ve liked everything by Monica Kubica. Now as I sit here on my couch about to crack it open, I’m a bit apprehensive as most of my friends reviews are unfavorable 😳😬🫥😵

So, my date tonight (ooolalah), the total “tall dark and handsome” package, took me out to dinner and then coffee and a wander through the bookstore. Then… purchased the book I picked up as a lovely gift. I shall do my best to not let this type of dazzling experience influence my rating 😉 😜

I saw this at Target and it was calling to me. I don’t know how this book hasn’t caught my radar before… but you’ve got my attention now!

Yikes… hype isn’t worth it so far… I really hope this gets better. I’m about half way through and stalling out.
