I will never read a book by Schwartz again. Saw some reviews. Are people insane? No atmosphere, 0 passion, little research. If you want your characters speak like scottish people do a little digging (pun intended) first. Read a book by Douglas Stuart, first couple of pages even, I dunno

There's so many opportunities to give us a little retrospect into the characters thoughts and feelings but they are all missed

But what about their experience? What did he think of her, while they're riding horses? Why she was so easy to agree to teach him that in the first place?

Still like the book though

It's the same information that we've been given by other authors (at some point I even confused this book and Essentialism by McKeown - couldn't remember what I've read in which book exactly) but hey, all self-help books are like this.
It's on you, the reader, to make the experience uniquely yours.

Still too many names gosh-

As much as I enjoy the way author presents the information - a proof is given for each made statement by showing how it worked in real life for famous people - the amount of it is just too overwhelming.

Like yeah, I get it, scientists, researchers and artists who were active early in life had better memory and performance later BUT OH MY GOD STOP SHOWING DRY FACTS AND NAMES DOWN MY THROAT too many names Jesus chri--
