Is this story rushed? Yes.
Is it a bit naive? Totally.
Would I recommend it? Probably not.
Did I enjoy it? Kinda.

The book is rushed and silly. Everything goes Hazels Sinett's way, she's just so brilliant isn't she

I will never read a book by Schwartz again. Saw some reviews. Are people insane? No atmosphere, 0 passion, little research. If you want your characters speak like scottish people do a little digging (pun intended) first. Read a book by Douglas Stuart, first couple of pages even, I dunno

There's so many opportunities to give us a little retrospect into the characters thoughts and feelings but they are all missed

"She did this, they went there, they returned back and had a little chat". Great.

But what about their experience? What did he think of her, while they're riding horses? Why she was so easy to agree to teach him that in the first place?

Why is this book so fast paced?
