DNF.

I had to DNF when a woman gets with an 18 yr old. It’s not ok. It’s not love.

I am zooming through this and enjoying myself immensely! TJR is hit or miss for me and this is a hit.

This is so cute; I had my misgivings when deciding to give this book a shot! But, I think the narrators do an amazing job, and that might be giving me the extra push on this book that so far doesn’t have a lot of plot.

I love this and its companion series so much. So feminist, and such a beautiful, beautiful world.

At 20% I was having fun and getting into and 30-some% in I'm getting a little annoyed at the modern everyday colloquialisms and phrases being used. "sports bra" "dimples" electricity powered by magic instead of. . .electricity? It's like it's contemporary, steampunk, and fantasy all at once. Which it can be. But, it's pulling me out of the story.

Why am I hating this so much. I'm so sad.

The first quarter had me so bored, and now it’s picking up with more interpersonal interaction. Thank god! Bc I read the series finale has all perspectives so I really need to read this one.

I’m so upset that I’m hating this. I never really liked Ahna in Books 1-4, but a good book could change my mind.

I DNF’d this on audiobook at 18% bc I was bored and it returned itself to Libby. I am going to give it one more chance.

I hope Ahna and Lara figure their shit out. I’m missing Keris and Zarrah. 😭 Aren is still a lump of a man.

The writing style of this one is so, so different from Conform!
