Ok I’m liking the more political dynamic, and now we’ve got much more actual SpecOps going on. I’m sold

Well fuck, huh.

With the way this is going, I’m expecting an, “is that an order, sir?” while one of them is laying on the Oval Office desk, Jesus Christ.

I’m only two chapters in and I’m not sure if I’m emotionally ready for this. Might swiftly go back on the shelf.

This one’s gonna be rough

Oh my got Lestat is GAY

Holy morals Batman

HORSE

Happy birthday to me, I get to spend it with little baby bitch boy. But I am liking this book a lot.

Ugh a moment to actually READ. Bliss.

Guess the fae aren’t the only territorial bastards.

Anyways, I love Politicking: Clue edition

Ok MAYBEEEEE The Assassin’s blade was important, fine I’ll concede that

I sweeeaaarrrr to god if there’s another pregnancy plot…

Ok, that fight in the bay redeemed that god awful character choice. I forgive you for now.

Got it, so all Fae men are fuck machines and get pissed when they can’t. Noted.

Reeeeallllyyy not doing ANYTHING to help break stereotypes or reinforce the “strong independent woman” shallowness here…

Cat fight of the century over here with bitch face, I-have-a-son-and-will-meet-him-later, and Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law. Goddamn boys calm down

Two months for three books, I got time, if I actually sit through it.

Proof I read today, thoughts come later

….*whistles quietly*

Oof… OOF… yeah that’s a gut punch

HOLY. SHIT.

This book in basically every chapter is now making me go: “Ugh… *MEN*”

I swear to god

CHAOL. MY GUY.

SHUT UP.

The desire to bonk Aelin and Chaol’s foreheads together so they have skull fractures is strong.

Little wyvern kill big wyvern that shows no restraint wow haven’t heard that one before

I’m definitely missing pieces from the other books since it took me so long to get back to this series.

I spun a wheel. The wheel chose Red Rising but I had accidentally included that in the “fantasy” options. It would’ve landed on Heir of Fire if I hadn’t messed up. So now here we are

New level of miscommunication trope unlocked: “my wife has very obviously been bitten by a vampire but I wouldn’t know that because WE DONT FUCKING TALK TO EACH OTHER ABOUT IT”
