The Gospel needs to be shared with everyone everywhere. In order to be a part of this mission we can’t be focused on our earthly possessions & amassing more of them. We must be willing to submit fully to God and live in a way that we can be generous to the poor & share the Gospel proudly.

This book is better than I imagined. I want to devour the whole thing in a day but I’m giving my mind time to comprehend the very insane position this main character is in and how it all leads to the escape.

1,100 pages this will be the longest book I’ve ever read. The font is small & pages are large. I read for 45 minutes and got 20 done…. I’ll be lucky to finish by 2026! Time to grind.

I’ve never seen anyone write like this. Stephen king does an amazing job of intertwining the past with the present and hinting at things that happened in the past then addressing them in the present. It’s so good so far.

You know those books that you read and you’re like wow I really wish I didn’t know this because it’s making me so mad, this is one of those books. I never realized how the world is literally built for and by men. I believe everyone should read this, especially women because we don’t even realize we’re being discriminated against in the littlest of things. And it’s not all intentional. More on that later.

So close to done, the book is wrapping up nicely. Feels good to see the public rallying together to remove any mention of the Sackler name on buildings or in museums. Or anywhere for that matter. 30 pages to go but a lifetime of wonder at how this even happened in the first place.

This is the craziest book I’ve ever read. The way the author writes this is what makes it so good. I don’t usually read books this lengthy but the way it’s written makes me want to keep reading. So far I’ve read a ton about the life of Arthur Sackler the older brother of the three (Arthur, Mortimer, Raymond)
