Crikey this book was a heavy read. I can’t say I loved it, though I love the series in general, but this one was tough. Maybe because of my job I have little appetite for consuming stories about sexual abuse. Makes the other books in the series feel light! Poor Lizzie, poor Hugh. Ugh.
