Problematic descriptors in at least one story even for the time. But I've learned some really cool vocab etc. My favorite new acquisition, especially how he used it, is sibilant.

My Dad recommended it to me. He is curious to know what I think of it. I just finished the first story, and I loved it. I learned a few new vocab words millinery is one). A character mentions Capricorn, so I looked the author up (probably again). He was a Capricorn. In Cap fashion he lived a long life, departed at age 91 in 2010. This is my first exposure to his work.
