The Laughing Man....

Problematic descriptors in at least one story even for the time. But I've learned some really cool vocab etc. My favorite new acquisition, especially how he used it, is sibilant.

My Dad recommended it to me. He is curious to know what I think of it. I just finished the first story, and I loved it. I learned a few new vocab words millinery is one). A character mentions Capricorn, so I looked the author up (probably again). He was a Capricorn. In Cap fashion he lived a long life, departed at age 91 in 2010. This is my first exposure to his work. Thanks, Dad. ♥

Don't sleep on this! It is thoroughly engaging and entertaining, especially... especially as an audio book. I have been loving the casual time I've been spending with it on my drives for weeks. Truly love it, and love buying and sharing the book with people, as well as pitching it as a strong suggestion in the form of an audio book.
