I was reading this back in May and now I'm jumping back in, hoping my memory is still intact of all the stuff going on.

Its interesting to see the pov of every family member. You rarely get that

if anyone has genuinely scary books to recommend this october please let me know! i am in the mood for all the spooks

I have already been binging thrillers but now that October has officially commenced I must up my spook factor even more.

I think the whole not wanting to tell him because she wants him to like her for her instead of some faux memories is spot on one of my issues with reincarnation love stories. Good for Blythe for seeing that. In the back of my mind I often think "ugh but he just likes her because he loved the dead lady" (why yes I do have long-lasting bad memories from my long love of the Inuyasha series)

this series really strangely reminds me of caraval. either way, this installment is so so so so so much better than the previous two. It's kind of like signa and death ruin the fun

oh how much better this series is without signa and death. I'm actually genuinely enjoying it and not seething with anger. blythe is a breath of fresh air

there’s just something addictive about these books. Don’t get me wrong , I loathed the inheritance games but I’m devouring this spin-off. Even though it has its share of problems

i am actually really enjoying it? i haven't been bored once. nobody move, i've actually been enjoying the books i'm picking up again. (i say as i gave my last read 2 stars, but that was an enjoyable bad book!)

them interchangeably coming in to tell her the other brother is evil is hilarious. Feels like it would be a riddle: two brothers come in and claim the other one is evil. Which one is lying?

I do love the atmosphere of this series, it's just a myriad of many, many other troubles I have. I enjoy reading it, but I also despise it? Does that make sense?

making out in his decaying soul house feels so disrespectful. which is what I would expect from these two grrrr (if you can't tell, I'm not their fan)

Man blythe is way too good to be around these other people. She needs to spread her wings and get outta here

man don't let death back into the book. I have enjoyed it so much more without him. It feels fresher, free, the air is clearer.

Do i absolutely despise the first book? Yep. But here i am.

This is very out of my realm of reading which is why im doing it. I tend to judge these types of covers, yes, quite literally judging a book by its cover. But I should give more books a chance for I am knowing it so far

Why, yes, reading in the dark at night does have my mind conjuring things up

I'm glad I've kept up with the book. It's a pleasant random pick from the library. I tend to dnf anything if it's been too inconvenient to read. I got sick? It is automatically the books fault and I tend to drop it. But I'm going strong!
