You know at first the "My senior Araragi" "My junior Kanbaru" thing bothered me a bit just because that's not really natural-sounding English (obvs we have no perfect words for senpai/kohai) but now I find it a bit charming the way Araragi and Kanbaru call each other that XD they are such goobers

My preorder for Otaku Vampire 6 is coming today, but I think I need a refresh on the entire series, so expect reread reviews soon! *salute*

Knowing what happens in future arcs makes reading these beginning arcs so fulfilling in a unique way, they stand amazingly on their own but the foreshadowing is fabulous too. The reread value is wonderful.

There's a manga I really wanna read that's only available on Hoopla from Hayward Lib., CA (so says my Link+ Catalog), and they allow online apps for library cards from CA residents... but not from Sacramento County!? Just a handful of other CA counties? Why is it so hard and needlessly complicated to access different books officially?!!? T_T

I'm doing it!!! I'm reading a book with only words!! Sure, it may be for kiddos, but I'm proud of myself since I haven't done this in such a long time >.< I'm enjoying it!!!

My goal for 2026 is to read 397 vols of manga. I'm not going to be too strict abt this goal, I may lower it later on. But I came pretty close to that this year & read up till the very end, so I'm hoping I can stick to it. I want to dedicate 3 books of my goal to non-manga. I'm going to try reading light novels. I haven't read a book with just words in so long, but I'm hoping I can make it a habit! Wish me luck!!!
