How tf does she have her fate stone?! Didn’t she yeet it over the edge of a cliff in the last book?… honestly was looking forward to never having to read about her obsessing over it anymore 😩

I’m thankful that the initial attraction between them that seemed flagrant and obtrusive has not fully overtaken the story so far. I’m still weary it will moving forward, but I’m holding out hope it won’t. Otherwise, really enjoying the world building atm.

Like the 1st book, the plot is too predictable making the development drag. Droning on and on about the mate bond which everyone could clearly see beforehand is boring me to death… I had hoped this book would be a tad more polished. Sigh.

Just read through a whole page of explanations and descriptions of complicated races and descriptions only to move on from it to completely unrelated scene? Why?

The grammatical errors on this page alone, but also overall, distract from the flow of reading. Also, I have to say that all the made up names and things and creatures, etc, it’s too much. I don’t want to have to study and commit to memory useless info (I reserve my brain space for other stuff) to make sense of what I’m reading… Alas, the story seems to have potential, so I’ll continue on for now.
