So far this book is a bit of a let down. I've of heard of slow burn to get to the smut, but this book at 66% in is slow burn to the love story. So far the FMC and MMC have had 10 non-emotional 'transactional' spicy scenes. So it's not hitting the same way. There isn't even any angst to play off of. The rest of the book has been about how the FMC is going to fix the MMC company. It's told in great detail.
