This is very repetitive of her YouTube channel and her Bible Study Boot Camp. I’m not hearing anything new.

Part three has a good story. I didn’t quite connect with the author reflections. The questions for discussion were okay.

The second part of this Bible study centered around the woman who bled. The on camera narrative from the Bible was not changed and the story was excellent. The questions at the end are great and make you think.

I like the idea of a story that paints a picture for the unsaid things in the Bible. As long as we remember it’s just another way to look at things and not part of the inspired word of God. With that being said, I’m not sure that I like putting things into the story that are already clearly laid out in the Bible. For example, making a young boy a central part of the legions of pigs story.

This has been a comfy, cozy fake relationship so far. There is a lot of warm, Christmas reflection in this one. If you’re still needing a Christmas read, you should grab this.

I’ve got to stop reading Virginia Wise books. I shouldn’t be drawn to happy, sappy, sentimental tears so many times in one week.

Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! I’ve reached the point where the conflict/disagreement/disaster happens (is there a writing term for this? The clima, I guess) and it is soooo good! I just can’t. It’s all too much. But I want to keep reading. And lunch break is over. Work is so disruptive to my reading life.

Oh my goodness! The women in this family sure do protest too much! I can’t stop smiling at Amanda’s behavior toward David. The thinly veiled anger isn’t fooling anyone.

Have you ever read a book where it became so exciting that you had to stop reading it? You just couldn’t continue with the emotional overload? That’s where I’m at. I suddenly realize how my cat feels when I pet her too much.

I love a close proximity book but everything that has happened so far seems like it should be over the course of a month at least. But it’s only been a week. The timeline doesn’t feel like it’s adding up to me.

I love that this book is about Leah! And that Belinda the Goose is on page one! It’s wonderful to hear Leah’s thoughts but I’m not liking that meeting John is bringing out the worst in her. One of the things I enjoyed from book one of the series is how compassionate Leah is. Apparently that compassion is reserved for her twin brother. No worries though, Benjamin is calling her out on her behavior.
