I like the idea of a story that paints a picture for the unsaid things in the Bible. As long as we remember it’s just another way to look at things and not part of the inspired word of God. With that being said, I’m not sure that I like putting things into the story that are already clearly laid out in the Bible. For example, making a young boy a central part of the legions of pigs story.

Part three has a good story. I didn’t quite connect with the author reflections. The questions for discussion were okay.

The second part of this Bible study centered around the woman who bled. The on camera narrative from the Bible was not changed and the story was excellent. The questions at the end are great and make you think.

Carla Bruns To specify, I’m talking about putting the boy with Jesus when no boy was mentioned. The story from Britton could still have worked if the boy were hiding on the side and witnessed these things. Putting him on the beach, clinging to Jesus asking for help strays too far from the Biblical narrative (and facts) when only the herdsmen were mentioned.
