Kuririn defeats Bacterian, a fighter known for his immense and terrible smell, in the Tenkaichi Budokai (Strongest Under The Heavens) World Tournament. After a few matches, Son Goku defeats Giran, a small dragon. In the semi-finals, Kuririn loses against Jackie Chun, who is Master Roshi in disguise. Son Goku also gets defeated by Roshi, just barely, however.

Link, after defeating a gang of thieves alone and being sent away by Shadow Link when Princess Zelda disappears, ends up in front of the legendary Four Sword, a weapon that splits the user into four identical copies. Soon after pulling it out, he is divided into four Links with differently colored tunics, who are then separated into different parts of the world by the hands of Shadow Link.

For Irving and Pemberton's next mission, they headed out during the night. However, Pemberton fell into a huge hole with water at the bottom, due to not being able to see clearly. They had to call a rescue team to get him out. Afterwards, Irv and Brent teamed for a few missions. After those were done, Irving decided it was his time to leave the military for good, starting on March 10, 2010.

Soon before the end of the battle in the desert landscape, it was discovered that Kopp, one of Irving's allies, was severely wounded. After making it back to the platoon safe and sound from the battle, and after showering, Sergeant Casey told them the bad news: Kopp had died. The good news was that he was a donor, and his heart had saved an elderly woman.

At some point, Irving and Pemberton, along with two other individuals, separated from the rest of the RECCE team. When they reached their destination, they noticed some activity in the distance. Then, both a sniper and a machine gunner started firing at them. Irving took out the machine gunner, followed by the hidden sniper, who was hiding in a distant building.

After completing the mission, Cody from the RECCE team approached Irving, telling him they knew he could do it and that he lived up to the name of "The Reaper" even now. He also mentioned rumors that Irving wasn't aware of. They then moved on to another mission, this time in a desert at night. They couldn't fly in or get too close because their location would have been revealed.

In the past, Deadpool was tasked by Butler to perform another assassination, this time on his, at the time, unknown parents. He is then guided by Sabretooth, whom he considers a "Wolverine rip-off," to Canada. The Canadian government gets involved and sends its superheroes off to fend them off. Deadpool distracts them by shooting at an electric pole, almost hitting a bus, and then goes into hiding until nighttime.

Deadpool decides to get married to the queen of the Underworld: Shiklah. after the troubles of a fight in a museum. Deadpool and Shiklah both go to Japan to give Kim, an experimented individual with the powers of Nightcrawler and the skin tissues of Deadpool, a suitcase full of money he gathered from S.H.I.E.l.D. after defeating the undead presidents. They then have to defeat Dracula and his vampires.

Deadpool decides to take a look back at yesteryear in the style of 1970s comics. At the time, he came across an ad in a newspaper stating: "Heroes For Hire!" Since he considers himself a hero and needs to be hired, he walks over to the place listed, encountering a couple of goons on the way and knocking them out without lethal force.

Irving arrives in Afghanistan and decides to socialize with some of the members in his platoon. Soon after, he and some others are invited to undertake a somewhat secret mission with some of the RECCE personnel. He and some of the squad take three days to prepare for the mission. They then took off to their next destination while also joking around.

Irving organizes and completes several missions that focus on stealth and operating in darkness. The first mission was accomplished in just a few minutes; it involved capturing a guy who specialized in making suicide vests. The next mission took place in an open area, where a guy pointed a rifle toward the building where he and his crew were. Irving also shares his past experiences, both normal and military.

Nicholas wakes up to the sound of his pager and walks into the ready room. Being one of the snipers among the forty men in the platoon, it's crucial to have eyesight, especially at night. He never expected to become one of the deadliest snipers in the Third Ranger Battalion. He also comes from a military family and can stay calm even when something crazy happens.

After Nico Robin says that she desires to live, the rest of the Straw Hat gang rushes into the tower that holds her captive. However, each of them split up when they realized that each CP9 member had a key that could unlock Robin from her handcuffs. Zolo takes on Kaku, Nami takes on Kumadori, Sanji takes on Kalifa, and the Sniper King takes on Jabra. Luffy is currently trying to find Spandam, Lucci, and Robin.

As the enormous beanstalk starts to topple, the residents of Angel Island evacuate to avoid their impending destruction. When Eneru is about to trigger his apocalyptic plan, Luffy leaps forward to strike the golden bell that hasn't rung in 400 years, and Eneru. Consequently, Eneru and his ship plummet into the White-White Sea. After peace has been made in Skypiea, the Straw Hats return to their journey.

After Luffy gets pummeled by Bellamy, he and his crew reach Jaya Island and meet Mont Blanc Cricket, a descendant of the most notorious liar. He helps the Straw Hat Crew by repairing their ship and assists them in reaching a sky island. The Straw Hats find themselves on a cloud and then arrive at a city called Skypiea. However, they are unable to pay the toll for entry and are now considered criminals by the locals.

After leaving Alabasta, a new member joins Luffy's pirate crew: Nico Robin. With their latest addition, they discover a falling pirate ship that contains information about a sky island, along with a log pose pointing upward. With this knowledge and after dealing with Masira, they travel to Jaya Island. While there, they run into Bellamy, who mercilessly attacks them after Nami asks about the sky island.

After Crocodile's defeat, Luffy and his pirate squad help the citizens of Alabasta rebuild their country and have a happy time. Luffy asks Princess Vivi if she wants to join their team as a pirate, and her decision will be finalized by noon the next day. Before that time, Luffy and his pirate squad, along with Bon-Chan, ran into the Navy. Bon-Chan chose to sacrifice himself to allow the others to escape the Navy.

Luffy continues to fight against Sir Crocodile to prevent him from capturing Alabasta. Meanwhile, Princess Vivi, Nami, Chopper, Usopp, Sanji, and Zolo try to find the location of the bomb or cannon that is going to destroy the square within Alabasta. The Ponegliff has been located, but it only reveals the history of Alabasta. There's no mention of a secret hidden within the text.

Oswald just recently finished 5th grade and now has to endure summer break in a town with barely any livelihood within it. At first, he spends his summer days going to the library and the local pizza place: Jeff's Pizza. He finds a ball pit and enters it just to get his revenge on his dad. He eventually crawls out of it and ends up in the past, with the pizza place now named Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

After Link left to begin his journey, he encountered Ghanti and helped her after she was injured. Link's goal is to collect the Wisdom, Courage, and Power Pendents to be considered worthy of pulling the Master Sword from its pedestal. After lifting it, he was sent to the Dark World. He rescues the 6 sages from their torture, frees Zelda from her prison, allies with her and Ghanti, and fights the demon beast Ganon.

After Link harvests his first apples, he returns home with his uncle for dinner. While asleep, he hears a female voice telling him to go to Hyrule Castle and enter the dungeon. He finds his uncle has been stabbed and is dying. His uncle tells him to defeat Agahnim after his death. Link takes his uncle's sword and shield, searches for Princess Zelda, and they escape. Link is then told to collect the Master Sword.

After witnessing disturbing events during the white phase of military training, and before entering the blue phase, Ryan was able to visit his family for two weeks. Once back in the military, he and some of his squad started going from place to place to create better transport and fortify bases in Iraq. One of his allies had died from an IED. At the end of the book, he was able to return home and enter college.

Ryan Smithson was a typical high school student when the events of September 9, 2001, occurred. After experiencing the events on live television, he felt an urge to drop out of high school and join the military. After a long wait and completing everything he needed, he managed to enter the Red Phase of military training. From there, he endures several difficult days in Iraq, witnessing the deaths of innocent lives.
