UNEXPECTED FREAK FOR FREAK

The way I can easily see the connections between this novel's world and the mechanics of V:TM is crazy to me. The basis of vampirism and the ways it has effected that world is absolutely drawn from it in some capacity.

I have been frothing at the mouth waiting for Caitlin Starling to return to writing vampires ever since her story "The Land of Milk and Honey." If this disappoints me I think I will gaslight myself into liking it.

it is refreshing to have sapphic (kind of? its kind of sapphic) romance within a dark academia novel that ISN'T with a teacher! It's crazy that this is one of the first times this has happened for me.
