This book has no bibliography and that makes me want to not read it. Why should I believe anything you say if you don’t cite your sources?

Jane McAlevey says that unions are only as good as their governing norms and boy oh boy were the governing norms of the UMWA pretty awful!

What the hell. Why do the US government and the Holocaust ruin everything?

This book is boring me and I just fast forwarded through a sex scene because I’m a prude. Idk why anyone would retell the great gatsby with Nick and Jordan actually being an item. That’s so boring.

I’m so glad gatsby is in the public domain so people can publish their gay wizard fanfic

Since I re-read Gatsby, I have to read other books that I loved as a teenager. Reading this one book club style with a friend from college.

I love this stupid book. I can’t count the number of times I’ve read it. Last time I did, I read it on kindle and exclusively highlighted the parts that were evidence of Nick being gay and in love with Gatbsy (the evidence pretty compelling).

I just read some reviews that say this book gets smutty and now i feel like an idiot for not realizing that was the direction it would go in. needless to say gonna have to DNF it because i don't feel like listening to straight people smut

I needed background noise. This book is good as background noise.
