Absolutely love these lot! Sanderson’s character development has vastly improved since the original Mistborn trilogy, as amazing as those were. Shorter chapters and linear storytelling make this one a page turner, too. Possibly my favorite thus far and the Cosmere references starting to come in stronger is a lot of fun!

Read this one after Mistborn Era 1 and loved it. BUT, reading again now after The Bands of Mourning (Wax and Wayne book 3) because a few things came up in BOM and Sanderson worked on this before writing The Lost Metal AND I have a terrible memory so I am intrigued to see if there’s some things I missed or that will have more meaning now!

Still in the prologue but is a fun easy read thus far! I think I will like it.
